This Privacy Policy explains how 2BuyAndSell ("we," "us") handles personal information on 2buyandsell.com and in the 2BuyAndSell service. By using the site, you agree to this policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Founding list sign-up: your name, email, phone number (optional), role, brokerage or company, and anything you write in the note box.
• Contact form and email: your name, email, and what you write to us.
• Agent and loan officer accounts (when the service launches): your name, contact details, brokerage, license number, photo, logo, website and social links, languages spoken, and billing details. Payments are handled by our payment processor; we don't store full card numbers.

Information from people who use an agent's page

When someone takes a readiness check on an agent's page, they may give their name, email, phone, timeline, and answers they choose about their situation, such as an income range, monthly debts, savings, a credit score range they pick themselves, military service, and home details. We use these answers only to show the person their results and to send them to the agent whose page they used. We never pull credit reports and never ask for Social Security, bank or card numbers.

The agent decides how to follow up. We handle this information on the agent's behalf.

Information collected automatically

• Basic technical data: like any website, our hosting provider receives your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit and when, to deliver the site and keep it secure.
• Fonts: our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers. See Google's Privacy Policy.

2. How we use information

• To run the site and the service, and to show readiness results.
• To contact you about your founding spot, your account, or your questions.
• To send occasional product updates. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
• To improve 2BuyAndSell, fix problems and prevent spam, fraud and abuse.
• To follow the law and protect our rights and our users.

3. Who we share information with

We do not sell personal information. We share it only in these cases:

• The agent you chose: if you take a readiness check on an agent's page, your answers go to that agent (and, if they're on a team account, their team).
• Service providers who help us run the business, such as website hosting and form handling (Netlify), email, and payment processing. They may use the information only to provide their services to us.
• Legal reasons: if required by law, a court order, or to protect someone's safety or our rights.
• A business change: if 2BuyAndSell is merged or sold, information may transfer to the new owner under this same policy.

We don't sell or rent leads, and we don't share people's information with lenders, title companies or other providers unless the person asks us to.

4. Cookies, analytics and advertising

Right now, 2buyandsell.com does not use advertising cookies or show third-party ads. Our forms don't need cookies to work.

We may later add tools such as Google Analytics (to see how many people visit), Google Ads conversion tracking (to see which of our ads work), or Google AdSense (to show ads). If we do, we'll update this policy, and the following applies:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
• You may opt out of personalized advertising from Google by visiting Google My Ad Center. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info.
• You can learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services, and you can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Where the law requires it, we'll ask for your consent before using non-essential cookies.

5. Your choices

• Email: click "unsubscribe" in any marketing email, or email us.
• Texts: we only text people who agreed to it. Reply STOP to any text to stop.
• Calls: tell us and we'll stop calling.

6. Your privacy rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

• Confirm whether we have your personal information, and get a copy of it.
• Correct information that's wrong.
• Delete your information.
• Opt out of the sale of personal information, targeted advertising, and profiling that leads to important decisions about you. (We don't do any of these today.)

To make a request, email hello@2buyandsell.com or use our contact form. We may need to confirm your identity first. We'll answer within 45 days, and if we need more time, we'll tell you why. We won't treat you differently for using your rights.

Texas residents: if we deny your request, you can appeal by replying to our answer with the word "Appeal." We'll respond to an appeal within 60 days. If you're not satisfied, you can contact the Texas Attorney General.

If someone took a readiness check on an agent's page, they can also contact that agent directly about their information.

7. How long we keep information

We keep information only as long as we need it for the reasons above. Founding list sign-ups are kept until launch and for up to two years after, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Agent account data is kept while the account is open and for a reasonable time after it closes. Leads belong to the agent's account and are deleted when the agent deletes them or closes the account, except for routine backups that are cleared on a regular schedule.

8. Security

Our site uses HTTPS encryption, and we limit who can access personal information. No method of sending or storing data is 100% secure, so we can't promise perfect security. If a breach affects your information, we'll notify you as the law requires.

9. Children

2BuyAndSell is for adults. It is not directed to children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child gave us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

10. Links to other sites

Our pages link to other sites, such as TREC and social media. Their privacy practices are their own, so please read their policies.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here and update the date at the top. If the changes are significant, we'll let account holders know by email.
